What’s Different About Cocaine Addicts Anonymous?

What is Cocaine Addicts Anonymous?

Cocaine Addicts Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from their cocaine addiction. The only requirement for C.A.A. membership is a desire to stop using cocaine. The programme of Cocaine Addicts Anonymous is one of total abstinence. Experience has proven beyond any doubt, that taking other drugs or alcohol will always eventually lead us back to cocaine, so we must abstain from all mind altering substances.

We believe singleness of purpose {one cocaine addict helping another} is critically important, we understand that some people come into C.A.A. with various combinations of problems. Some of these problems lay outside of our experience, however people with other addictions as well as cocaine are welcome here, but cocainism was our common problem. Since we have all suffered the same problem, we are uniquely qualified to help others recover from their cocainism, by way of our personal experience with cocaine and the Twelve Steps of C.A.A.

We are fully self-supporting through our own contributions and do not accept outside donations. We are not affiliated with any outside organizations or groups. We have no opinions on outside issues. We neither endorse nor oppose any causes. We use the 12 steps of recovery because it has already been proven that the 12 step recovery programme works.
